Photovoltaic monitoring - Centralized supervision

Within renewable energies and photovoltaic, Tecnoespe Srl has realized a control room for the management of more than one hundred of photovoltaic systems.
The control room is equipped with high-resolution displays for a practical overview of the status of all systems.
A single centralized supervision will monitor all systems, providing the operator with an effective overview.
Each monitored plant, sends its data to the local supervision used for maintenance and to centralized remote supervision for control operations and system monitoring.
Currently the control room manages 128 plants with our supervision.
This room is also supported by a video surveillance system and intrusion detection system.

Automation of testing rooms for heat pumps and chillers.

For more than ten years, we offer automation and assistance to companies that make use of test rooms to check their own products or third party products. Tecnoespe has performed many of these works for test rooms dedicated to heat pumps and chillers (air conditioners).
The entire testing process is monitored and controlled by a supervision, which is a program that displays all the data of the cab in real time and in which the operator can perform certain control and management operations.
The reporting system integrated into supervision allows you to collect all the parameters of the machine being checked throughout the test cycle. The generated reports are documents in which all the measurements are given as tables and charts. These reports will be used to certify the testing process of the product.

Tecnoespe in the dairy industry

For several years Tecnoespe Srl is operating in the dairy sector, offering its automation products and services with professionalism and experience. Among the realizations carried out, there are for example:
    Boilers for the cheese production
  • management and supervision of the entire production process
  • plants for the pasteurization of milk
  • outcrop plants
  • management of boilers for the production of cheese
  • automated salting systems
  • management of cold stores for storage and aging
  • CIP (Clean In Place) for plants washing  .
All works are carried out in full respect of the laws concerning safety and hygiene; the electrical panels, for example, are made in stainless steel and are waterproof for isolate the electrical components from the water.

Tecnoespe - Syrup room automation

In 2009 Tecnoespe Srl realized one of the most modern and sophisticated syrup room. At full speed this plant can produce up to two products (syrups) simultaneously and is also able to serve all seven bottling lines present in the establishment.
Almost all the operations are carried out by automation which is controlled by a Siemens S7-400 CPU in which runs the software developed by Tecnoespe.

PLC software must handle a large number of peripherals:
  • about 500 valves
  • more than 40 motors
  • about 2000 digital input and digital output
  • more than 50 PID controller
  • and much more.
The automation performs various tasks automatically:
  • ingredients mixing
  • pasteurization of certain products
  • wash the system after each preparation
  • preparation of semi-finished products in intermediate silo
  • storage of finished goods awaiting bottling
  • supply of the products to the various lines of the bottling plant
  • etc.
The entire automation process is supervised by Siemens WinCC SCADA software. Two monitors with FULL-HD resolution allow operators to control and oversee the entire syrup room. In addition to these monitors, Tecnoespe provided five thin-client embedded in automation switchboards that surround the syrup room; through these terminals, operators can monitor and control the production process in strategic points of the room, reducing operations times and increasing production .

Tecnoespe and renewable energy

In renewable energy, Tecnoespe Srl has worked very actively in the last years, participating and investing heavily in this area.
Particularly relevant are the solutions proposed in the context of the production of electrical energy derived from the sun; automation made by Tecnoespe has allowed the creation of solar trackers efficient and professional, able to capture as much solar energy as possible during the day.
For both solar trackers that for fixed installations, Tecnoespe offers solutions for system monitoring tailored. The wide range of products are suitable for all types and all sizes of plants, interacting with the field (inverters, junction boxes, etc..) to indicate quickly and accurately any failure and/or anomalies.
In the field of hydroelectric, Tecnoespe Srl has participated in the creation of important and impressive works, both in Italy and abroad. Automation solutions provided (electrical panels, PLC software, etc..) are very advanced.
In our official blog are mentioned some of these works and in our  YouTube channel there are various multimedia resources that give a better idea of these works.
Finally, mention should be made of the works done by Tecnoespe for electric biogas power plants; soon in our blog will be included more information and resources related to this works.

Rewinder for special papers

An important Italian company commissioned to Tecnoespe Srl the development of automation for a rewinder for special papers. The rewinder was been installed at a well-known paper factory in Padua.
Among the various features of this machine, the most important one is the winding speed: more than 2000 m/min with maximum diameter on the unwinder equal to 3 meters. The work was commissioned in January 2009.

Crane for shipyard of 1000 tons

In 2009, Tecnoespe Srl  has put into service a new crane for shipyards which has the maximum load of 1000 tons. The client is still one of the largest shipyards in Italy (for privacy reasons we can not mention the name).
Tecnoespe was entrusted with the task of creating the electronic equipment and its automation software.

Roof of Warsaw stadium

TECNOESPE has contributed to the realization of the automation of the coverage of the national stadium of Warsaw, built for the European Football Championship (UEFA EURO 2012).
The movable cover essentially consists of a canvas that is opened and closed through sixty steel cables disposed in a radial manner; on each of these cables is installed a motor with attached the canvas. The automation provided by us is responsible of opening and closing the canvas uniformly, excluding the risk of tearing.
In center of the stadium there are four big screens controlled by the automation provided by Tecnoespe; through the use of a complex system of pulleys and steel ropes, the monitor can vary their inclination and can be made to go ashore for maintenance operations.
